The Unicorn Polish bakery is easily accessible with plenty of parking in the long shopping strip right in front of the store. There is a comprehensive bakery department, meat department, and a wide variety of products directly from Poland. The staff was friendly and helpful. In addition to the frozen section carrying our favorite Pierogi which are filled dumplings, made by wrapping unleavened dough around a filling, flavored with a savory garnish, they carry just about all the ingredients for a traditional Polish dinner.

This is a small Polish bakery. Seems mostly everyone speaks Polish here. I love the Polish cakes and went there for that. I tried the Nepolean cake and walnut honey cake. Both were really good. There were a lot of blackberry juices, which was good as well. Chocolate covered wafle with peanut butter stuffing was a nice try. I tried a couple of other cookies which were all good.

This place is dangerous, in the I want to eat all of it way. I couldn't help but take a blueberry cheese Babka, walnut bread, a cheese filled danish, a strawberry and cheese danish and cinnamon stick. It took serious restraint to not buy more. I couldn't wait to get home to try a danish, so I of course had a bite, or many, in the car. So scrumptious and worth the calories. Everything still tasted perfectly fresh even though I went around 3 pm, last in the day for a bakery. I will be buying lots of these treats for family for Christmas and I'm certain they'll enjoy them. The herbal teas are excellent too. The strawberry tea is full of flavor, the most flavorful brand I've ever had. The woman working was an absolute sweetheart and super helpful.

Really cute polish store. I got some kabinosy and it was Great. There was a nice selection of desserts too that I will definitely go back to try!

Delightful but not at all what I expected. So let me admit that today was my first visit. Work has me in Vernon on Thursday and Friday over the next two weeks. Getting that out of the way,, I've eaten this bakeries products, most notably the strawberry cheese babka, a million times. This bakery supplies a bunch of stores that I do regular shopping at in New Britain. When I found out that I was few miles away from the actual bakery I decided to stop in. For whatever reason, I had the idea in my mind this was going to be a huge bakery. The virtual Death Star of Babka and Paczki..... I couldn't be more wrong. I was greeted by a small, quaint unassuming bakery/deli that is smaller than the places I frequent in New Britain. All the pastries looked delightful and everything was presented in a nice way. The service was ok. I was looking for Paczki and I politely asked if they had any doughnuts? I got a strange look and a single terse "Tomorrow". Well definitely not tomorrow but perhaps after work next Thursday or Friday!

Being of Polish heritage and growing up with Polish food, I have found this bakery to have the best Babka (love the blueberry/cheese see picture), so much fruit! The meats and holiday horseradish is also best around. Surprised they don't carry Chrusciki (angel wings), always a must at the holidays. Great place with very friendly folks working.

Very good European style bakery, featuring Polish breads, pastries, cakes and cookies.There is a deli as well as an area for imported Polish can goods and other popular items for cooking up your favorite Polish dishes I'm a big fan of this place and will be stopping by there today to pick up dessert.

Stopped in for some pastries and was not disappointed. Lots of variety in desserts. I tried a cheesecake cone pastry (never seen this anywhere before) and it was delicious! The cream puffs were beautiful displays of a swan - average taste. The cheese danish was one of the best I've ever had with very flaky and flavorful crust. Will be going back to try the pierogis!
